In Brief:
Teucrium is launching a 2x leveraged XRP ETF on NYSE Arca on April 8.
This is the first XRP ETF product, preceding spot ETF approval.

Teucrium Investment Advisors will debut the first XRP-based exchange-traded fund (ETF) on April 8, offering a 2x leveraged version designed for short-term trading. The fund, listed under the ticker XXRP on NYSE Arca, aims to deliver twice the daily performance of Ripple’s XRP token.

The launch is notable as it precedes any SEC approval of a spot XRP ETF. Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas highlighted the rarity of a leveraged product launching before a spot equivalent. Teucrium has priced the fund with a 1.85% management fee and cautioned that volatility and falling usage could affect returns.

The ETF arrives amid a broader wave of pending spot XRP ETF filings from firms such as WisdomTree, Bitwise, and Franklin Templeton. While the SEC has not approved any spot XRP funds yet, it has acknowledged the submissions.

Teucrium’s move follows the SEC's March decision to drop a longstanding case against Ripple, signaling a friendlier stance toward crypto ETF products under the current administration.
