Arbitrum cites a need for partners who fully support blockchain innovation.

The Arbitrum Foundation has withdrawn from Nvidia’s Ignition AI accelerator program after Nvidia reportedly prohibited any public mention of its collaboration with crypto-related projects, according to Foresight News and The Block.

Initially, Arbitrum was set to be the exclusive representative of the Ethereum ecosystem within the AI accelerator. The program was designed to provide AI development support and cloud service credits to participants. However, Nvidia’s recent stance change—allowing private cooperation but banning public disclosure—led Arbitrum to reconsider the partnership.

An Arbitrum spokesperson emphasized that the decision was made based on business principles and a desire for long-term partnerships that openly embrace blockchain innovation. In contrast, another blockchain project, Aptos, remains in Nvidia’s program.

The foundation stated it would prioritize collaborations with partners willing to fully support and publicly recognize advancements in crypto and blockchain technology.
