In Brief:
RLUSD reached $76M in deposits on Aave V3 just four days after integration.
The stablecoin is fully backed by USD reserves and aims to bridge DeFi with traditional finance.

Ripple’s new RLUSD stablecoin has achieved rapid growth on Aave, reaching $76 million in deposits within four days of being listed on the Aave V3 Ethereum Core market. The integration, which went live on April 21, enables users to deposit and lend RLUSD directly through the protocol.

RLUSD is a 1:1 dollar-backed stablecoin secured by U.S. dollar reserves and government bonds. It was developed with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, transparency, and scalability in both DeFi and traditional finance environments.

Ripple has positioned RLUSD as a next-generation tool for cross-border payments, aiming to deliver a stable, compliant solution that can be integrated across various financial systems.

Its fast adoption on Aave reflects increasing demand for institution-friendly stablecoins within DeFi and highlights Ripple’s push to expand beyond its existing remittance infrastructure.
