In Brief:
Ripple has obtained full regulatory approval from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) to offer crypto payment services.
The DFSA license allows Ripple to operate in the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), a key economic hub in the UAE.

Ripple has officially secured its DFSA license, granting the company approval to provide cross-border crypto payment services within the UAE. This milestone strengthens Ripple’s presence in the region and aligns with Dubai’s push to become a global crypto hub.

The license was announced on March 13, following Ripple’s earlier disclosure in October 2024 that it was working towards regulatory approval. With this new authorization, Ripple can expand its digital asset infrastructure, leveraging Dubai’s crypto-friendly policies and independent regulatory framework.
