In Brief
Microsoft services, including Outlook, Teams, and Azure, suffered a major outage on Saturday afternoon (US time).
Over 37,000 users reported Outlook failures, with Microsoft 365 and Teams also heavily impacted, particularly in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

A widespread Microsoft service outage left tens of thousands of users unable to access email and cloud applications on March 2. According to Downdetector, outage reports began after 3:30 PM ET, with a surge in complaints related to Microsoft Outlook, Exchange, Teams, and Microsoft 365.

The breakdown was most severe in major U.S. cities, including New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. While Microsoft has yet to provide a full explanation, early reports suggest server issues affecting cloud-based services.

Users continue to experience disruptions, and Microsoft is actively working on restoring full functionality.
