Blockchain.com has announced the appointment of Justin Evans as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to spearhead its initial public offering (IPO) strategy. Evans, who previously led crypto investment banking at Goldman Sachs, brings expertise in capital markets and financial strategy to the role.

Additionally, Mike Wilcox, a former Point72 Asset Management investment manager, has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO). Wilcox previously served as CFO at Velocity Global, reinforcing Blockchain.com’s executive leadership amid its IPO push.

The company joins a growing list of crypto firms, including Circle, Kraken, Gemini, Ripple, and BitGo, that are exploring public listings.
