In Brief:
A whale moved 14,014 ETH (≈$22.14M) from Maker to Binance within the past hour.
$8.28M USDT was also withdrawn from Binance, suggesting preparations to sell.

On April 7, on-chain data analyst Yu Jin flagged a significant crypto movement involving a large Ethereum whale. According to blockchain records, the whale address withdrew 14,014 ETH—worth around $22.14 million—from the Maker protocol and transferred it to centralized exchange Binance.

Notably, the same address also withdrew $8.28 million in USDT from Binance shortly after, which may indicate the whale is preparing to liquidate part or all of the ETH holdings.

The timing and size of this movement have raised concerns about short-term selling pressure in the Ethereum market. While not yet confirmed as a direct sell, such behavior is often a precursor to large-scale exits, particularly during high volatility or price weakness.

Market watchers are now closely monitoring Binance’s order books for any signs of impact from this whale activity.
